About Us

Over 20,000 years ago colliding glaciers left dramatic ridges, contours and vistas in their wake. Today that land is known as Wisconsin's Kettle Moraine and is home to Erin Hills. When architects Michael Hurdzan, Dana Fry and Ron Whitten set out to draft the course, they needed to move only a few shovels of dirt to reveal the minimalist design that can test the game's best.

Since opening for play in 2006, the course has been recognized by Golf Digest as being among America's Greatest Public Courses, one of America's 100 Greatest Courses overall, and has hosted a number of championships and competitions leading to selection as the site of the U.S. Open Championship in 2017.
